The Supplementary Planing Document (SPD) will draw heavily on the information in the Central Bletchley Prospectus, reviewing and updating its conclusions to include recent changes arising from the Town Deal and impacts of the Covid pandemic.
Providing an overarching framework for the Central Bletchley area as a whole, the SPD will also include site specific guidance for the opportunity areas and sites identified in the Prospectus, a number of which correspond to projects to be delivered through the Town Deal.
The SPD is likely to set out:
An introduction, explaining the background and role and scope of SPD.
A review of the Policy Context – both nationally and locally.
The context and character of the Central Bletchley area.
A vision and set of objectives for the Central Bletchley Area and an illustrative development framework for how the area may develop in the future.
Specific guidance relating to movement, transport and parking.
Further detailed guidance on specific opportunity areas/sites, for example to include design guidance on matters such as key buildings and frontages, heights, public realm etc).
The approach to how future proposals could come forward iand be delivered.
